Lakeside at Eastleigh is a fantastic local lake. You can swim approx. 350m loops and at the edges it is shallow enough to stand the whole way around. The lake itself is contained within the Lakeside Country Park and has lovely trails so why not combine your swim with a run?! If you love your parkrun, Eastleigh Parkrun is just down the road so your Saturday can be full of multisport.

Become a member before you swim so you get the super discount on every swim thereafter. 

You will be required to pre-book your swim and come with something with your name on (bank card/ID/library card, etc!) We will use this ID to allocate you a wristband to swim.

We open on Saturday 15th April 2023 and the last swim is Saturday 30th September 2023.

We encourage all swimmers to become members. Register HERE and then make sure you’re logged into your clubtrac account to receive a £3 discount off all swims. 

Swims must be purchased and pre-booked online before the session is attended. No refunds will be issued to avoid people reserving sessions and not turning up. There is no time limit on the session but be mindful of the closing times, dusk on Thursday evenings and 10:15 on Saturdays.

There are no changing rooms. Come ready to swim. Public loos open 9am - 5pm. We do have access to the changing rooms for ‘emergencies!’

Finally please do think through all the risks before you decide to swim in open water.

Wetsuits are compulsory and no swimming will take place if the water is under 11 degrees. Wetsuits not only keep you warm, they provide great buoyancy, giving you that extra helping hand than if you were in the pool. If you wish to hire a wetsuit please contact Steve on: contact@howlmutlisports.com
